Baseball Recap: Diman RVT Makes It 15 in a Row at Home

Diman RVT proved they can win big on Friday (they won by nine) and on Monday they proved they can win the close ones too. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-1 victory over the Tri-County RVT Cougars. The win was nothing new for the Bengals as they're now sitting on three straight.

The team relied heavily on Cam Falcon, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases and one run.

Diman RVT pushed their record up to 6-4 with the victory, which was their 15th straight at home dating back to last season. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.9 runs on average over those games. As for Tri-County RVT, their loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 6-5-1.

Looking ahead, Diman RVT will welcome Brockton at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Bengals are facing the Boxers at the right time seeing as the Boxers are stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Tri-County RVT, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Bristol-Plymouth RVT at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
