Basketball Recap: West Forsyth Takes a Loss

West Forsyth was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a hard 58-43 fall against the Elizabethtown Panthers. That's two games in a row now that the Wolverines have lost by exactly 15 points.

West Forsyth now has a losing record of 5-6. As for Elizabethtown, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. West Forsyth will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on North Forsyth at 6:00 p.m. on January 6, 2026. As for Elizabethtown, they will challenge Bullitt East at 7:30 p.m. on January 5, 2026.
