Volleyball Game Preview: A&M Consolidated Tigers vs. Magnolia Bulldogs

The A&M Consolidated Tigers will challenge the Magnolia Bulldogs at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Friday, A&M Consolidated earned a 3-1 victory over Montgomery. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Tigers.

The final score came out to 25-17, 25-22, 18-25, 25-16.

Meanwhile, Magnolia got the win against Klein on Friday by a conclusive 3-0. The win continues a trend for the Bulldogs in their matchups with the Bearkats: they've now won five in a row.

Magnolia's got stronger as the match went on, holding Klein to fewer and fewer points set over set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-16, 25-14.

Magnolia's victory bumped their record up to 25-11. As for A&M Consolidated, their win bumped their record up to 31-9.

A&M Consolidated came out on top in a nail-biter against Magnolia when the teams last played back in August of 2024, sneaking past 2-1. Will the Tigers repeat their success, or do the Bulldogs have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
