Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask St. Joseph Central). They put the hurt on the Logan Wildcats with a sharp 10-0 win on Saturday. St. Joseph Central's defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last four games.

Their offense was hitting Logan from everywhere, as eight different players booted in a goal. Brier Wagner led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by himself.

St. Joseph Central pushed their record up to 4-0 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 22 goals over those three matches. As for Logan, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. St. Joseph Central will head out to challenge Cabell Midland at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Cabell Midland's last four contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Logan, they will square off against Tug Valley at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
