Soccer Recap: West Bloomfield Takes a Loss

After flying high against Avondale on Tuesday, West Bloomfield came back down to earth. The Lakers lost 7-1 to the North Farmington Raiders on Friday. While losing is never fun, West Bloomfield can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan soccer rankings (they are ranked 346th, while North Farmington are ranked 161st).

West Bloomfield's defeat dropped their record down to 2-7. As for North Farmington, the victory was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. West Bloomfield will challenge Berkley at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for North Farmington, they will head out to square off against Detroit Country Day at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
