Softball Recap: Fenton Takes a Loss

While it was Fenton who put the first runs on the board on Thursday, it was Larkin who put up more. The Bison fell just short of the Royals by a score of 11-10. The loss continues a trend for the Bison in their meetings with the Royals: they've now lost five in a row.

Fenton's defeat dropped their record down to 12-15. As for Larkin, their win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 11-13.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Fenton will welcome Glenbard South at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Larkin, they will face off against DeKalb at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The Barbs will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Royals surely won't give up without a fight.
