Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Emmerson Haskins and Cate Rogers Lead Circle to Victory

Circle won the last time they faced Augusta and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Thunderbirds came out on top against the Orioles by a score of 2-0.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Circle was: they took both sets by at least 13 points. The final score came out to 25-8, 25-12.

Leading Circle to victory were Cate Rogers and Emmerson Haskins. Rogers had 14 assists and eight digs, while Haskins had six aces and one assist. Those six aces gave Haskins a new career-high.

Circle now has a winning record of 6-5. As for Augusta, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-4-2.

Looking ahead, Circle will take on East in a tournament on Saturday. As for Augusta, they will be taking part in a tournament against Trinity Academy at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday.
