Volleyball Recap: Mount Airy Takes a Loss

Mount Airy lost against North Surry on September 9th and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Granite Bears lost 3-0 to the Greyhounds. The Granite Bears have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

North Surry's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but KK Adame led the charge by getting nine digs and one assist.

Mount Airy now has a losing record of 8-9. As for North Surry, their win bumped their record up to 12-5.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Mount Airy is set to square off against their familiar foe West Stokes at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, North Surry will challenge rival Forbush at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
