Basketball Recap: Jamestown Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Jamestown can now relate to. They took a 53-40 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bismarck Demons on Friday. The Bluejays were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Demons earlier this season, when they won 50-40.

This is the second loss in a row for Jamestown and nudges their season record down to 10-15. As for Bismarck, their win bumped their record up to 16-11.

Looking ahead, Jamestown will challenge Grand Forks Central at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Jamestown will be up against Grand Forks Central's rather soft defense (which has allowed 61.68 points per match), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. Bismarck does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
