Hesperia had won nine straight games dating back to last season and Dylanna Akwaboah did her part to make it ten on Saturday. The Scorpions walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Tahquitz Titans for which the team can thank Akwaboah, who had 19 assists and five digs. She has been hot for a while, having posted 13 or more assists the last 18 times she's played.

Tahquitz lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Marley Tuliau, who had seven kills, four blocks, and two aces. Another player making a difference was Bella Cederholm, who had 11 digs.

Hesperia's win bumped their record up to 9-0. As for Tahquitz, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-5.

Hesperia didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 victory against Valley View on the 23rd. As for Tahquitz, they have also already played their next match, a 2-1 defeat against Aquinas on the 23rd.
