Baseball Recap: Pacifica Comes Up Short

Pacifica was the 2-1 winner over Ventura when they last played one another back in April of 2025, but their luck changed this time around. The Tritons fell just short of the Cougars by a score of 4-3 on Tuesday.

Pacifica saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was JJ Carmona, who went 2-for-3 with one run.

Pacifica's loss dropped their record down to 9-9. As for Ventura, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-14.

While Pacifica had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:30 p.m. on Friday.
