Baseball Recap: Cabot Has No Trouble Against Central

It was a proper cat-fight when Cabot challenged Central on Tuesday. The Panthers blew past the Tigers 8-2. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Panthers also won the last time the pair played back in April of 2025.

Jacob Murray was excellent, going 1-for-2 with two stolen bases, two RBI, and one run. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in April.

Cabot's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 16-8. The road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games. As for Central, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 15-13 record this season.

Cabot will have a chance to go back-to-back against Central: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
