Marion County won the last time they faced Chattahoochee County and things went their way on Monday too. The Marion County Eagles snuck past the Chattahoochee County Panthers with a 51-45 victory.

Marion County's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Valencia Alridge, who went 5-for-6 en route to 14 points and three steals. What's more, Alridge also posted a 50% three-point shooting accuracy, which is the highest she's posted since back in December of 2024. Another player making a difference was Jamaya Crumbley, who posted seven points in addition to 14 boards and three steals.

Marion County smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 13 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 13 offensive rebounds in five consecutive contests.

Marion County's victory bumped their record up to 12-10. As for Chattahoochee County, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-16.
