While University City's victory against McCluer North wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Lions won by a set and slipped past the Stars 3-2. University City took McCluer North into a fifth set where they got it done with a five-point win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 17-25, 28-26, 25-16, 21-25, 15-10.

University City's victory bumped their record up to 10-16-3. As for McCluer North, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-6.
