Volleyball Recap: Campbell County Takes a Loss

Campbell County lost against Holy Cross back in August and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Camels came up short against the Indians, falling 3-0.

Campbell County was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-22, 25-13.

Campbell County has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last eight matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-16 record this season. As for Holy Cross, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 18-12 record this season.

Campbell County is taking a road trip to face off against Harrison County at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Holy Cross has already played their next contest (against Villa Madonna), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
