Lamar Consolidated entered their tilt with George Ranch on Tuesday with six consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with seven. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Longhorns an 11-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for the Mustangs, who have now won 16 matches by six runs or more so far this season.

Terra Williams was a standout: she went 2-for-3 with one home run, four RBI, and one double. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in February. The team also got some help courtesy of Aubree Jones, who got on base in all four of her plate appearances with three RBI, two runs, and one double.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Lamar Consolidated kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least ten hits in three consecutive contests.

Lamar Consolidated's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 19-3. The road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.0 runs over those games. As for George Ranch, they moved to 11-15-3 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Coming up, Lamar Consolidated will venture away from home to take on Galena Park at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Yellowjackets' pitching crew has only allowed 2.8 runs per game this season, so the Mustangs' hitters will have their work cut out for them. George Ranch does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
