Basketball Recap: Cleveland Takes a Loss

Cleveland lost against College Park back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Cleveland Indians took a blow against the College Park Cavaliers, falling 80-31. The Indians were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 42-19.

Ian Inman was his usual excellent self, going 11 of 19 en route to 29 points for College Park. Another player making a difference was Francisco Cantillo Mulonga, who posted 16 points along with six boards and three steals.

This is the second loss in a row for Cleveland and nudges their season record down to 4-16. As for College Park, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 17-8 record this season.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing New Caney the next time they take the court. Cleveland will head out to face New Caney at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, while College Park will host them at 1:00 p.m. on January 11th.
