Sprague has been on a difficult stretch since their win on September 12. They came up short against the McNary Celtics on Tuesday, falling 4-1. While losing is never fun, Sprague can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oregon soccer rankings (they are ranked 79th, while McNary are ranked 19th).

Sprague now has a losing record of 3-4-4. As for McNary, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 7-3-1.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Sprague will take on rival South Salem at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, McNary is set to square off against their familiar foe North Salem at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
