Lincoln is 8-2 against Elkins since March of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Lincoln Wolves will square off against the Elkins Elks at 4:30 p.m. Lincoln's pitching crew has only allowed 3.6 runs per game this season, so Elkins' hitters will have their work cut out for them.

Lincoln's usually-dominant pitching crew will be looking to make up for Friday's struggle, when Gravette hitters got past them. Lincoln fell 12-7 to Gravette on Friday. The Wolves haven't had much luck with the Lions recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Meanwhile, Elkins lost 14-3 to Booneville on Friday.

Elkins now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Lincoln, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-3.

Everything went Lincoln's way against Elkins in their previous meeting back in April of 2024, as Lincoln made off with a 10-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Lincoln since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
