Hubbertville put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Hackleburg Panthers 50-20. The Lions have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Panthers, too.

Blaize Wakefield had another great game (as he tends to do), throwing for 67 yards and a pair of TDs, while also punching in one score on the ground.

Hubbertville was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 271 rushing yards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Hackleburg only rushed for 105.

Hubbertville's record is now 10-0. As for Hackleburg, the defeat snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 7-3 record.

The two teams are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. Hubbertville will challenge Woodland at 7:00 p.m. on the 7th. As for Hackleburg, they will square off against Spring Garden at 7:00 p.m. on the 7th.
