After some red-hot attacks at the plate in their last three contests, Bakersfield finally came back down to earth on Friday. They lost 11-1 to the Van Buren Bulldogs. The match marked the Lions' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

The defeat snapped Bakersfield's winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 8-3 record. As for Van Buren, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season.
