Softball Recap: Brazosport Takes a Loss

Brazosport and Rockport-Fulton squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Brazosport had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Pirates by a score of 9-8. The Exporters have struggled against the Pirates recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost meeting.

Eshanti Green was cooking despite her team's loss, going 3-for-4 with two doubles, one stolen base, and one run. The team also got some help courtesy of E'Niya Green, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.

Brazosport now has a losing record of 10-11. As for Rockport-Fulton, the victory was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 25-5.

As of now, neither Brazosport nor the Pirates have any future games scheduled.
