 This season hasn't been kind to the Hollow Rock-Bruceton Central Tigers, who are still winless after their tenth match. They were the victim of a  rough 58-36 loss at the hands of Montgomery Central  on Friday. Hollow Rock-Bruceton Central lost against Montgomery Central in their previous head to head  back in December of 2023, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the  68-33 score last time.
 Montgomery Central got their  victory on the backs of several key players, but it was  Javon Blackmon out in front who  dropped  a double-double on 11 points and 11  rebounds. Those 11  rebounds set a new season-high mark for him. The team also got some help courtesy of  Malik Peterson, who  scored 13 points along with seven  rebounds.
 Hollow Rock-Bruceton Central bumped their record down to 0-10 with that  defeat, which was their sixth straight  on the road dating back to last season. As for Montgomery Central, they are  on a roll lately: they've  won three of their last four games,  which provided a massive bump to their 5-8 record this season.
 Hollow Rock-Bruceton Central will be playing at home against McKenzie at 6:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Montgomery Central won't have much time to rest: their next  matchup is against Cheatham County Central at 4:30  p.m.  on January 6th. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another  in Tennessee (Cheatham County Central is ranked 354th, while Montgomery Central is ranked 369th).
