Dana Hills won the last time they faced Tesoro and things went their way on Friday too. The Dolphins sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 7-5 win over the Titans. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Dolphins.

James Khay looked comfortable as he tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one earned run any time he's pitched this season.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on James Leicester, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI. Ryan Georgia also deserves some recognition as he got his first hits of the season.

Dana Hills' victory bumped their record up to 9-11-1. As for Tesoro, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-16.

Looking ahead, Dana Hills will head out to take on Aliso Niguel at 3:45 p.m. on Monday. The Wolverines will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something the Dolphins surely won't give up without a fight. As for Tesoro, they will take on Trabuco Hills at 3:45 p.m. on Monday. The Mustangs' pitching crew has only allowed 1.8 runs per game this season, so the Titans' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
