Game recap: Giles County High School Football Team defeats White House

WHITE HOUSE, Tenn. - Giles County (Pulaski, Tenn.) kept up a steady attack all game long to defeat White House (Tenn.), 33-10, on Saturday.

After taking the lead on a touchdown run by Trevor Holder in the first quarter, the Bobcats were up 20-3 at the half.

Giles County grew its lead to 23 points entering the fourth quarter. GC scored two times in the third, including once on a Holder touchdown run.

With the win the Pulaski school extended its winning streak to five games. Giles County defeated Pearl-Cohn 23-7 last week.

White House's only touchdown came on an 8-yard run by Bailey Burns in the third quarter.



The Blue Devils came in allowing just 12.5 points per game this season. White House had a hard time against Giles County's offense, who entered the game scoring 31.6 points per game. Giles County came in allowing an average of 21.9 points per game this season.

The defeat comes as a step back for White House, which notched a 21-14 victory over Lexington in its previous outing. The loss snapped White House's two-game winning streak.
