Basketball Recap: Tongue River Comes Up Short

Tongue River was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They came up short against the Pine Bluffs Hornets, falling 59-35. The Eagles were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Hornets apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January of 2024.

Tongue River's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Pine Bluffs, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 5-5 record.

Tongue River will square off against Burns at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Pine Bluffs, they are taking a road trip to take on Sundance at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
