Softball Recap: St. John Paul II Takes a Loss

St. John Paul II lost against Madison County back in February, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Panthers fell just short of the Cowboys by a score of 2-1. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

St. John Paul II saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was SHAVON STEWART, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one run.

St. John Paul II's defeat dropped their record down to 7-12. As for Madison County, the victory was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 16-1.

Looking ahead, St. John Paul II will venture away from home to take on Wewahitchka at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Gators have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 9.14 runs per game on average), something the Panthers will no doubt try to take advantage of. Madison County does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
