Football Recap: Belvidere North Victorious

Belvidere North's game on Saturday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Wednesday. They enjoyed a cozy 20-6 win over the Rockford East E-Rabs. The Blue Thunder's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Belvidere North didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Maddie Barrios, Kenzie Albertini, and Maddie Gaeding picked up one apiece.

Belvidere North's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-4. As for Rockford East, their loss was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-4.
