Ocean View had lost four straight, but after bumping their record up to 7-18 on Tuesday that streak is in the rearview. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Arlington Lions, sneaking past 4-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Seahawks have posted since March 10th.

As for Arlington, the loss snapped their winning streak at ten games and leaves them with a 15-9 record. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat they have suffered since May 15, 2025.

For Arlington's part, Ezra Romero was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out seven over five innings pitched. Furthermore, Romero didn't allow a single earned run, the first time he has blanked an opponent since back in March.

On the hitting side, Arlington saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Michael Blair, who got on base in all three of his plate appearances with one double and one RBI.
