Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Texas). Everything went their way against the Jacksonville Fightin' Indians on Tuesday as they made off with a 21-2 win. The victory was familiar territory for the Tigers, who have now won three matches in a row.

Texas got a massive performance out of Cara Williams, who scored three runs and stole six bases while going 3-for-4. Those six stolen bases gave Williams a new career-high. Preslie Clopp was another key player, going 2-for-3 with four runs, three RBI, and one triple.

Texas always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .526. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Jacksonville only posted an OBP of .353.

Texas pushed their record up to 18-7-1 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.7 runs on average over those games. As for Jacksonville, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-21.
