Basketball Recap: River Valley Takes a Loss

River Valley lost against Clear Fork back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The River Valley Vikings lost to the Clear Fork Colts on the road by a 48-29 margin. While losing is never fun, the Vikings can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 440th, while the Colts are ranked 88th).

River Valley dropped their record down to 8-14 with the loss, which was their fifth straight on the road. As for Clear Fork, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 14 of their last 15 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 18-3 record this season.

River Valley will be taking part in a tournament against Jonathan Alder at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Clear Fork, they will challenge Cardington-Lincoln at 7:15 p.m. on Saturday.
