Softball Recap: Dublin Comes Up Short

If Dublin was riding high fresh off their 17-2 takedown of Seymour on Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Dublin Lions came up short against the Winters Blizzards on Saturday, falling 12-3.

Cassidy Adair stepped up to lead a balanced group of hitters: she went a perfect1-for-1 with one stolen base, one double, and one RBI. Adriana Stewart was another key player, scoring a run while going 2-for-2.

Dublin's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Winters, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Coincidentally, Dublin and Winters will both be playing Clyde the next time they take the field. Dublin will head out to face Clyde at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, while Winters will play them later in the day, at 9:00 a.m.
