Volleyball Game Preview: Myrtle Hawks vs. Ingomar Falcons

The Myrtle Hawks will face off against the Ingomar Falcons at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

On Thursday, Myrtle got the win against Strayhorn by a conclusive 3-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Hawks.

Ingomar won the last time they faced Okolona and Daylen Grisham did her part to make sure it happened again. The Falcons put the hurt on the Chieftains with a sharp 3-0 win on Thursday thanks in part to Grisham, who had five aces. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 2.1 aces per game.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Ingomar was: they took every set by at least 18 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-4, 25-7, 25-6.

Ingomar's victory bumped their record up to 25-4-1. As for Myrtle, their win bumped their record up to 7-15-1.
