Mesilla Valley Christian School is on a eight-game streak of home wins, while Lordsburg is on a four-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. The Mesilla Valley Christian School SonBlazers will host the Lordsburg Mavericks at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.

The team also got some help courtesy of Natalie Guerrero, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 11 rebounds.

Lordsburg's win bumped their record up to 10-8. As for Mesilla Valley Christian School, their loss dropped their record down to 13-3.
