            Football Recap: Northwestern Tigers vs. Peru Tigers        
        
		
        
        
            Northwestern and Peru squared off in some playoff action  on Friday, but Northwestern had to settle for second. They were  outmatched by Peru and fell  41-14. Northwestern's defeat continues a  trend for the  squad, making it three in a row.
 Although Northwestern took the loss, they still got scores from  Sam Jones and  Bradyn Wilson.
 Peru got their  victory on the backs of several key players, but it was  Isaiah Korba out in front who rushed for 335 yards and one  score while picking up 11.2 yards per carry. With that strong performance,  Korba is now averaging an impressive 117.9  rushing yards per game. The team also got some help courtesy of  Ryne Babbs, who gained 189 total yards and three touchdowns.
Northwestern's loss dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Peru, their win  ended  a  four-game drought at home  and  bumped them up to 3-7.
 Northwestern does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Peru, they will face off against Twin Lakes at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. The Indians will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more  points each  contest than the last.
