Basketball Recap: Mckenzie Falls Short of Brantley in the Playoffs

McKenzie and Brantley squared off in some playoff action on Monday, but McKenzie had to settle for second. They fell 66-53 to the Brantley Bulldogs. The Tigers just can't catch a break and have now endured five losses in a row.

Jayden Parks was his usual excellent self, going 12 of 17 en route to 32 points in addition to five assists and three steals for Brantley. The match was Parks' sixth in a row with at least ten points. Julius Sylvester was another key player, dropping a double-double on 12 points and ten boards.

McKenzie's defeat dropped their record down to 11-9. As for Brantley, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 20-3.

As of now, neither McKenzie nor Brantley have any future games scheduled.
