Softball Recap: Wakefield Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Wakefield can now relate to. They fell just short of the South Lakes Seahawks by a score of 1-0 on Monday. While getting shut out isn't ideal, the Warriors haven't been shut out since back in April.

Wakefield's defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 13-8. As for South Lakes, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-11 record this season.

As of now, neither Wakefield nor South Lakes have any future games scheduled.
