Baseball Recap: Botkins Victorious

Botkins won the last time they faced Ridgemont and things went their way on Saturday too. The Trojans came out on top against the Golden Gophers by a score of 7-3.

Elijah Schuller was excellent, going a perfect 3-for-3 with three RBI and one stolen base. Those three hits gave him a new career-high. Hudson Meyer was another key player, going 2-for-4 with three runs and one stolen base.

The victory got Botkins back to even at 2-2. As for Ridgemont, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Botkins beat the Golden Gophers by a score of 11-1 later that day.
