Soccer Game Preview: Vienna/Goreville vs. Anna-Jonesboro/Cobden

The Vienna/Goreville Eagles will venture away from home to square off against the Anna-Jonesboro/Cobden Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Vienna/Goreville is coming into the game hot, having won their last three games.

It was a Battle of the Birds when Vienna/Goreville took on Kelly on Friday. The Eagles came out on top against the Hawks by a score of 2-0. That looming 2-0 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Vienna/Goreville yet this season.

Meanwhile, for the first time this season, Anna-Jonesboro/Cobden was forced to settle for a draw. They and DuQuoin finished up on equal footing with a 3-3 draw on Monday.

Gracie Hileman and Ava Frazier scored all three of Anna-Jonesboro/Cobden's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 22 goals.
