Volleyball Recap: Cane Bay Extends Winning Streak to Five

Fort Dorchester typically has all the answers at home, but on Monday Cane Bay proved too difficult a challenge. They came out on top against the Patriots by a score of 2-0. The Cobras have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Patriots, too.

Cane Bay never let Fort Dorchester on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 28-26.

Despite the loss, Fort Dorchester still got an impressive performance from Cade Ridgway, who had ten digs and two aces.

The win keeps Cane Bay at an undefeated 5-0. As for Fort Dorchester, their defeat ended a six-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 12-7.

Coincidentally, Cane Bay and Fort Dorchester will both be playing Summerville the next time they take the court. The Patriots will host the Green Wave at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, while the Cobras will play them later in the day, at 7:30 p.m.
