Soccer Game Preview: William Tennent vs. Council Rock North

The William Tennent Panthers are taking a road trip to face off against the Council Rock North Indians at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday. William Tennent's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for four straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

William Tennent fell victim to Neshaminy and their airtight defense on Thursday. They came up short against the Skins, falling 6-0. While losing is never fun, William Tennent can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania soccer rankings (they are ranked 201st, while Neshaminy are ranked 93rd).

Meanwhile, Council Rock North kept a clean sheet against Council Rock South on Saturday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Golden Hawks. Considering Council Rock North have won four matches by more than two goals this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Council Rock North's victory bumped their record up to 10-0. As for William Tennent, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-6.
