While St. Michael's victory against West Las Vegas wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Horsemen sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 6-4 win over the Dons on Monday. The victory was nothing new for the Horsemen as they're now sitting on three straight.
Andre Bryant made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He struck out six batters over 2.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two hits in five consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with two RBI. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in March.
Bryant wasn't the only one making solid contact as four players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Carson West, who went 1-for-3 with two runs. Michael Giesler was another, going 2-for-4 with one stolen base and one run.
