Basketball Game Preview: Magee Trojans vs. Richland Rangers

Magee is 0-4 against Richland since November of 2017 but things could change on Monday. The Trojans will challenge the Rangers at 11:30 a.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Magee can't be too happy about their upcoming road matchup considering what happened when they opened their season away from home on Thursday. They were dealt a 65-36 defeat at the hands of Mendenhall.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 55 points the game before, Richland was a bit more limited in their contest on Friday. They came up short against McLaurin, falling 49-23. The Rangers haven't had much luck with the Tigers recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Magee came up short against Richland in their previous meeting back in February of 2020, falling 62-57. Can the Trojans avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
