Football Recap: Kuemper Piles Up the Points Against Algona

Everything came up roses for the Kuemper Knights against the Algona Bulldogs on Friday as the squad secured a 52-21 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Knights.

Kuemper has also opened the season with a perfect 2-0 record. As for Algona, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Kuemper and Algona should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Iowa Rankings. The Knights will square off against Shenandoah at 7:00 p.m. on Friday with a big rank advantage (35 vs. 214). Meanwhile, Algona (ranked 40th) will meet Forest City (ranked 168th) at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
