Bowie came tearing into Tuesday's contest with five straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7.4 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They never let the Detroit Eagles get on the board and left with a 15-0 win. That's more bragging rights for the Pirates, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Bowie's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-4. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games.
