Volleyball Recap: Corona Del Sol Falls Despite Big Games from Evan Cornish and Leo Farnsworth

Corona del Sol was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Desert Vista Thunder. The Aztecs were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Thunder earlier this season, when they won 3-2.

The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 15-25, 25-23, 25-15.

Corona del Sol's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Leo Farnsworth, who had 11 digs and two aces, and Evan Cornish, who had 11 digs and one assist.

Corona del Sol's loss dropped their record down to 9-23. As for Desert Vista, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 14-20.
