Basketball Recap: South Delta Comes Up Short

South Delta came up into this matchup off a tough 41-point loss last Friday. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of the Shaw Warriors by a score of 43-41 on Tuesday. The Bulldogs were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Warriors earlier this season, when they won 40-21.

This is the second loss in a row for South Delta and nudges their season record down to 6-10. As for Shaw, their win ended a seven-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 6-14.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. South Delta will take on West Bolivar at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. South Delta is facing West Bolivar at the right time seeing as West Bolivar is stuck on a 15-game losing streak. As for Shaw, they and North Side will face off at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday without much rest having both just played.
