Volleyball Recap: Clemens Takes a Loss

Clemens was the 2-1 winner over Fulshear when they last played one another back in August of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Buffaloes took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Chargers on Thursday.

Despite the defeat, Clemens saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Emily Corkill had seven assists and five digs.

Clemens' loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Fulshear, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-0.

Clemens wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Forney on the 14th. As for Fulshear, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 victory against Rouse on the 14th.
