Soccer Game Preview: Red Bank vs. Signal Mountain

The Red Bank Lions will head out to take on the Signal Mountain Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Red Bank's last four contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Thursday just wasn't the day for Red Bank's offense. They fell just short of East Ridge by a score of 1-0 last Thursday. That's two games in a row now that Red Bank have lost by just one goal.

Meanwhile, Signal Mountain won against Hixson last Tuesday with two goals and they decided to stick to that goal total again last Thursday. The Eagles came out on top in a nail-biter against Soddy Daisy, sneaking past 2-1. Signal Mountain haven't had any issues with Soddy Daisy recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

Signal Mountain pushed their record up to 7-4-1 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 11 goals over those three matches. As for Red Bank, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-5-1.

Red Bank might still be hurting after the 7-1 loss they got from Signal Mountain when the teams last played back in April of 2024. Can the Lions avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
