The Pawnee City Indians will head out on the road to face off against the Linn Bulldogs at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Pawnee City is hoping to put an end to an eight-game streak of away losses dating back to last season.
Last Tuesday, Pawnee City had to suffer through a rough 53-16 loss at the hands of Lourdes Central Catholic. While losing is never fun, Pawnee City can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Nebraska basketball rankings (they are ranked 250th, while Lourdes Central Catholic is ranked 113th).
Meanwhile, after a string of three wins, Linn's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. Their rough 53-31 defeat to Clifton-Clyde might stick with them for a while. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Linn in their matchups with Clifton-Clyde: they've now lost three in a row.
Pawnee City's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Linn, their loss dropped their record down to 3-1.
